NIKOLAY ANDREEV AND GEORGY KOLOSOV. THE ARTISTS’ DIALOGUES LONGING A CENTURY

In the article, dedicated to two outstanding figures in the history of Russian pictorial photography, the researcher presented these two photographers-artists, whose work is separated by almost seventy years, as two artists close in spirit and in their aesthetic quests. The based the construction of the text on the guidelines of the biographies of Kolosov and Andreev and reveals, in addition to the aesthetic, also their biographical similarity that poses the problem of the role of the artist in Russia throughout the twentieth century.
